Some people say that opposites attract, others say that the perfect couple is one that is made up of two people who balance each other out… and Anna and Kevin are a perfect example of both. Kevin is quiet and shy, while Anna is outgoing and full of vibrance – they balance each other perfectly, and are so obviously in love and devoted to one another.
Anna planned this Nautical themed Edmonton wedding herself, and she did an incredible job of creating a wedding that was timeless and classy, while still having plenty of cool, stylish details. With bridesmaids in navy dresses and bouquets made of yellow roses, Anna’s ladies were simply classy and elegant. Her own bouquet was a collection of yellow and white roses with a hint of babies breath, and it was a perfect compliment to her stunning and classic lace dress. Kevin and Anna are very proud puppy parents to Presley and Brinkley, who made an appearance while the bride and bridesmaids were getting ready.
The navy and yellow theme carried through to their reception, where Anna’s planning transformed the Tofield Community Hall into a modern, nautical-themed celebration. She had everything planned perfectly, from big details like the navy chevron linens and white paper lanterns hanging from the ceiling, down to the smallest details. A custom monogram with an anchor in the centre was used in many of their details and decor – there were even anchor-shaped chocolates for wedding favours. Each favour had a fitting ‘We tied the knot!’ message attached to it (again, coordinated perfectly with the nautical theme!).
These two were so excited to get married, and Anna just has the best scrunchy-nose smile and cutest little laugh – both the ceremony and reception were filled with laughter. Thank you so much for having me photograph such a lovely day!
